Hope

Only Christ can walk with us through the darkness
and bring us into the light of a new dawn.
Only Christ can give us hope and certainty
that one day we will understand more clearly
the things that are mysteries to us now.
-Roy Lessin
Jesus is the Lighthouse that draws us toward the hope of heaven. He lights our way to paths of righteousness.
Whoever follows Me...will have the light of life.
John 8:12 NIV

Where there were questions,
Jesus came along and answered them-
Yes, I love you.
Yes, there's hope.
Yes, all things are possible
in peace, in rest...in Me.

-Trieste Van Wyngarden
Celebrating the awesome Yes of Jesus...
and praying you're blessed by His joy and love
at Easter and always.
All of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding "Yes!" II Corinthians 1:20 NLT

Jesus Calling

I am the Resurrection and the Life;
all lasting Life emanates from Me.
People search for life in many wrong ways: chasing after fleeting pleasures, accumulating possessions and wealth, trying to deny the inevitable effects of aging.
Meanwhile, I offer abundant Life to everyone who turns toward Me. As you come to Me and take My yoke upon you, I fill you with My very Life. This is how I choose to live in the world and accomplish My purposes. This is also how I bless you with Joy unspeakable and full of Glory. The Joy is Mine, and the Glory is Mine; but I bestow them on you as you live in My Presence, inviting Me to live fully in you.
John 11:25; Matthew 11:28-29; I Peter 1:8-9

the knots prayer

I had to re-post this prayer I found at a sister in Christ's blog Tracie that I am following!! I pray that you are encouraged by it as I was!!

The Knots Prayer
Dear God:
Please untie the knots
that are in my mind,
my heart and my life.
Remove the have nots,
can nots and the do nots
that I have in my mind.
Erase the will nots,
may nots,
might nots that may find
a home in my heart.
Release me from the could nots,
would nots and
should nots that obstruct my life.
And most of all,
Dear God,
I ask that you remove from my mind,
my heart, and my life all of the ‘am nots’
that I have allowed to hold me back,
especially the thought
that I am not good enough.
Amen

Faith Expects the Unexpected

I wanted to share this devotional {below}, that someone sent me, it was really encouraging. Walking by Faith is not easy, I can attest to that. Walking by sight is a lot easier, but walking by Faith that is key, and that is how God wants us to walk. If you will expect the unexpected God can and will bless you 10 times over. Put your faith and trust in Him, I promise you, you can not go wrong. God who created this universe loves you more than you will ever know, and He only wants the best for you. I'm talking the very best, what we think is the best here on earth God's best is 1 million times better. What is best down here, is nothing compared to Heaven. I mean in Heaven we are going to be walking on streets of gold! That amazes me, not dirty ol' hot asphalt.....gold!! How awesome is that?

Be encouraged today beloved Almighty God loves you, you are the apple of His eye!!!

Sometimes we strive in uncertainty, ever wondering what’s next. We are tentative to get our hopes up, because we have seen hopeful expectations dashed into discouragement in the past. So, in some situations we find ourselves somewhat skeptical of positive outcomes. Guilt and disappointment jar the foundations of faith with profound persistence. But the Lord does not want to leave His children in suspense—He clarifies.

“Show me Your ways, LORD, teach me Your paths.” Psalm 25:4

Today by faith you can walk with Jesus. Your paradise lost on earth is gained back in Christ. During this brief finite time—as a committed follower of Jesus—you have the solid expectation of an abundant life. Health scares, a fractured family or economic turmoil can only test your faith, not destroy your trust in God. {encouraging!!} Whatever you face—turn face-to-face to Jesus and in humility request Him to remember you—He will and He does.

Your heavenly Father remembers your hard work and He praises you for your diligence.  Christ remembers your need for companionship, thus He is orchestrating relationships within His body to bring you His helpmate {I am so abundantly blessed with mine}. He remembers your milestones of love and grief, and He joins you to rejoice and mourn. He remembers you, so you can remember Him and remember others with unexpected good news.
Faith expects the unexpected.

So today expect the unexpected God has for you! His ways are higher than our ways and soo much better.

Encouraging Truths

Some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven."
Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment.
Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith will it be done to you";
Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. "

Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven."
The apostles said to the LORD, "Increase our faith!"
Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well."

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.
strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said.
I did a short study on faith and found all these verses of encouragement, to help increase my faith. I want to put more, because there is so much more. I encourage you to read these verses in it's entirety in it's chapters. Just look up in the word faith in your bible concordance or on-line concordance and read of all the testimonies of faith.
Did you notice a pattern in the scriptures? When Jesus "saw their faith" He made it possible for them, he healed them. Friend, are you lacking faith today? Pray and ask God to increase your faith, just as the apostles did. He said that if we have faith as small as a mustard seed.  Have you seen one of those mustard seeds before, they are the tiniest things? God wants our 1mm size faith and He will take care of the rest. After looking at the mustard seed and thinking that's all the faith I need, wow Adrienne really how hard is it. What is holding you back? After ready scripture and seeing the mustard seed, it really blew my mind.....all He is waiting for is for us to have faith.....to move mountains {trials| road blocks | circumstances | situations | etc}. If you are struggling today through some trial | circumstance | situation have faith that God will see you through it and His will be done. Expect the unexpected....it will knock your socks off today!!

The seeds are usually about 1 or 2 mm in diameter
God Bless you!!!

Adrienne

All or Nothing????

This video pretty much lines up with what our Pastor was talking about tonight at service. It's all or nothing!!! Are you going to give Him your all or only what you want to? That was the challenge question He gave us tonight. That got me to think....am I giving my all? I sure hope that I am and if not I know God will reveal that to me so taht I can repent!! God is doing some Amazing stuff right now! The time is drawing near....we don't have that much time here on this earth. He does not promis us tomorrow, what are you going to do with the time He has blessed you with. Are you going to give it all to Him or do what you want or do what you think is right? Surrender all to Him, you can not go wrong!

In His Amazing Grace,
Adienne
